Return Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Artisanstudiomad. If you are not satisfied, you may return most items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange.

Our return policy is designed to be fair and straightforward. We understand that sometimes a product may not meet your expectations, and we're here to help make it right.

Return Timeframe

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return. The return process must be completed within this timeframe. Returns initiated after 30 days will not be accepted unless there are extenuating circumstances, which will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

To determine if your item is eligible for return, please check the delivery date on your order confirmation email or shipping notification.

Eligible Items for Return

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Unused Condition: The item must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition that you received it
  • Original Packaging: Items must be returned in their original packaging, including all tags, labels, and protective materials
  • Proof of Purchase: You must provide the original receipt, order confirmation email, or other proof of purchase
  • Complete Item: All parts, accessories, and components must be included with the return
  • No Damage: The item must not show any signs of wear, damage, or alteration

Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are not eligible for return due to their nature or customization. These include:

  • Custom-Made Items: Products that have been personalized, customized, or made-to-order specifically for you
  • Personalized Items: Items that have been engraved, monogrammed, or otherwise personalized with your name, initials, or custom text
  • Used Items: Products that show signs of use, wear, or damage caused by the customer
  • Damaged by Customer: Items that have been damaged, altered, or modified by the customer
  • Final Sale Items: Products marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable" at the time of purchase
  • Gift Cards: Gift cards and store credit are non-refundable
  • Digital Products: Digital downloads, e-books, or other digital content
  • Hygiene Items: Products that cannot be resold for health and safety reasons

How to Return an Item

To return an item, please follow these steps carefully:

  1. Contact Us: Email us at info@artisanstudiomad.world or call us at (555) 339-1187 to initiate a return. Please have your order number ready.
  2. Provide Information: Tell us your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return. This helps us improve our products and service.
  3. Receive Authorization: We will review your request and provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) number and detailed return instructions. Do not ship your return without an RA number, as it may delay processing.
  4. Package Securely: Package the item securely in its original packaging. If the original packaging is damaged or unavailable, use appropriate packaging to ensure the item arrives in good condition. Include all original tags, labels, and accessories.
  5. Include Documentation: Include a copy of your order confirmation or receipt, and write your RA number clearly on the outside of the package.
  6. Ship the Item: Ship the item to the return address provided in your return instructions. We recommend using a trackable shipping method and retaining your shipping receipt until your return is processed.

Important: Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. All returns must be sent to the address we provide in your return instructions.

Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are generally the responsibility of the customer, except in the following cases:

  • The item was defective or damaged when you received it
  • We sent you the wrong item
  • The item was significantly different from its description
  • We made an error in processing your order

In these cases, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label or reimburse you for return shipping costs.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method and purchasing shipping insurance for valuable items. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.

Refunds

Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it to ensure it meets our return criteria. This inspection typically takes 2-3 business days.

Refund Processing

If your return is approved:

  • You will receive an email notification confirming the approval
  • Your refund will be processed to your original method of payment
  • Refunds typically appear in your account within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank or credit card company
  • You will receive a refund confirmation email once the refund has been processed

Refund Amount

The refund amount will include:

  • The full purchase price of the returned item(s)
  • Original shipping costs (only if the return is due to our error or a defective item)

The refund amount will NOT include:

  • Return shipping costs (unless the return is due to our error)
  • Original shipping costs (if the return is not due to our error)
  • Any discounts or promotions that were applied to the original order

Refund Rejection

If your return is rejected, we will notify you via email with the reason for rejection. Common reasons for rejection include:

  • Item is not in original condition
  • Item is missing parts or accessories
  • Return was initiated after the 30-day window
  • Item is not eligible for return (custom-made, personalized, etc.)

If your return is rejected, we will ship the item back to you at your expense, or you may choose to have it disposed of.

Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different size, color, or style, please follow these steps:

  1. Return the original item following our standard return process
  2. Once your return is processed and approved, place a new order for the item you want
  3. We will process your refund for the returned item separately

This process ensures you receive the correct item while we process your return efficiently. If you need assistance finding a replacement item, please contact our customer service team.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately. We take product quality seriously and will make it right.

What to Do

  1. Contact Us Immediately: Email us at info@artisanstudiomad.world or call us at (555) 339-1187 within 48 hours of delivery
  2. Provide Details: Include your order number, photos of the damage or defect, and a description of the issue
  3. Keep the Item: Do not discard the item until we have resolved the issue

Resolution Options

For damaged or defective items, we will offer one of the following solutions:

  • Replacement: We will send you a replacement item at no additional cost, including free return shipping for the damaged item
  • Full Refund: We will provide a full refund, including original shipping costs and return shipping costs
  • Partial Refund: If the damage is minor and you wish to keep the item, we may offer a partial refund

We will work with you to find the best solution for your situation.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received your refund yet, please check the following:

  • Check your bank account or credit card statement
  • Contact your bank or credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted
  • Check your email for a refund confirmation from us

International Returns

For international orders, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Customs duties and taxes paid on the original order are non-refundable.

Please note that international returns may take longer to process due to customs clearance. We recommend using a trackable shipping method and declaring the package as a "returned item" with appropriate documentation.

Sale Items

Items purchased during sales or promotions are subject to the same return policy as regular-priced items, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
